Naples, FL, July 1st, 2024 — Fourth of July celebrations will have a fresh twist in Collier County this year. Paradise Coast Sports Complex will host one of the county's first large-scale drone shows on Saturday, July 6, from 6 to 11 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature bounce houses, remote control cars, laser tag, face painting, and live music.

The drone show, organized by Sky Elements, will begin at 9 p.m. and last for about 15 minutes. The event is free to the community and will feature 300 drones creating intricate designs and animations in the sky, including the American flag, fireworks, eagles, and other images related to paradise and sports.

Marissa Baker, Paradise Coast regional manager, emphasized that drone shows offer greater creative possibilities and flexibility than traditional fireworks, making them a more environmentally friendly option. The use of drones for the celebration has generated excitement within the community. J.P. Terrasi, the Marketing Coordinator, highlighted that drones are safer for wildlife and property compared to fireworks.

Naples will still host its traditional fireworks show downtown on July 4th, while the innovative drone show will take place on July 6th at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex.

July 4th Fireworks

The Fourth of July Fireworks will start at 9:00 p.m. and last about 30 minutes. The fireworks will be launched from a barge just west of the Naples Pier.

Naples July 4th Parade

The annual Naples 4th of July parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. on July 4th. The parade route will start on Broad Avenue South, move to Third Street South, proceed north to 5th Avenue South, and then turn south on 8th Street South past City Hall, ending at 8th Avenue South. Streets along the route will be closed starting at 7:30 a.m.

4th of July Celebration at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón

Celebrate Independence Day at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón with exclusive festivities on the resort lawn. The event will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring live music, family games, face painting, and a buffet of classic 4th of July dishes. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m., weather permitting.
