Naples, FL, May 30th, 2024 — Florida is eagerly anticipating the opening of its first Great Wolf Lodge, set to debut in Naples this October. Known for providing some of the best indoor water park experiences in the U.S., Great Wolf Lodge will significantly enhance Florida's tourist attractions with this new addition, part of its expanding presence across North America.

Great Wolf Lodge, famed for its focus on family-friendly resort experiences, started its journey in 1997 as Black Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Founded by brothers Jack and Andrew "Turk" Waterman, who also owned Noah's Ark Water Park, the brand has grown to include 22 locations across the U.S. and Canada. These locations offer indoor water parks that make Great Wolf Lodge a preferred family destination, promising fun regardless of weather conditions.

The upcoming Great Wolf Lodge in Naples is strategically located at 3900 City Gate Blvd., close to the Interstate 75 and Collier Boulevard interchange. This prime location represents a substantial investment of $250 million. The resort will span 20 acres and feature 500 family-friendly suites. It will also boast an impressive 100,000-square-foot indoor water park equipped with six swimming pools and numerous water slides designed to entertain guests of all ages.

Great Wolf Lodge stands out due to its comprehensive family-oriented facilities. Each resort features themed rooms designed to enhance the adventure experience for children and adults alike. The resorts also offer various dining options, from casual snacks to fine dining, ensuring that all guests' culinary needs are met without having to leave the comfort of the resort.

The development of the Great Wolf Lodge in Naples is not just a win for tourism but also a significant economic boost for the area. The construction and ongoing operation of the lodge are expected to create numerous jobs, from construction roles to permanent positions in hotel management, operations, and customer service. This influx of jobs is anticipated to stimulate local economic growth, making it a valued addition to the Naples community.

Room rates at the new Great Wolf Lodge are expected to be competitive, ranging from $300 to $700 per night, varying by room size, number of guests, and seasonal factors. Once the initial crowds taper off, the resort will offer day passes to the water park, priced around $60, allowing more flexible access to the facilities.

Owned by the Blackstone Group, Great Wolf Lodge maintains a robust business model that includes unique partnerships, such as the one at its Grand Mound location in Washington. This particular property operates jointly with the Chehalis Tribe on tribal land, showcasing a successful collaboration between corporate and tribal governance.

As the opening date approaches, excitement builds among both locals and prospective visitors. Great Wolf Lodge in Naples is set to offer a top-tier resort experience coupled with the adventure of an indoor water park, making it an attractive destination for families looking to enjoy the sunny climes and recreational richness of Florida.
